Largs and Troon Boat Shows are being held this year on the 10th,11th&12th of October.
Jeanneau Fun Race
Euroyachts annual Jeanneau Fun Race was held on Saturday 6th September. Taking the same format as previous years, the fleet of sixteen yachts was started from Largs in a pursuit race to finish at Colintraive.
Despite a miserable sounding forecast, by lunchtime the yachts and crews all found themselves enjoying one of the best days of the summer with an exiting beat up the East Kyle to the finish. After a drinks and nibbles party held in the gardens of the Colintraive Hotel, there was a prizegiving where line honours and the Jeanneau Fun Cup went to Curly Mills in his Sun Odyssey 43DS “Scrabble”, closely followed by Dave Clark in another 43DS “Eauvation V” and Peter Foulds in his new Sun Odyssey 42iP “Incandescant”. A few crews stayed overnight and joined in at the celidh which was held that evening at the village hall.

Construction is now well under way on our new custom designed and built showroom facilities at Largs Yacht Haven. In the news pages we have pictures of the work carried out so far.
2008 JEANNEAU FUN CUP. This year the event will be held on Saturday the 6th of September, with the same format as the past two years. A pursuit race from Largs to Colintraive with a reception at the hotel there immidiatly after the race. There will also once again be the opportunity to join in the jazz band dance which will be held in the village hall that evening. Invitations will be sent out to all the Jeanneau owners that we know of, any owner is invited to contact us if they are interested in joining in.

We are delighted to be able to announce that construction will start shortly of our new custom built facility at Largs Yacht Haven. The 520 sq meter building is completely without precedent in our business in the UK and will become our new HQ as well as providing a unique environment for new boat sales, commissioning and servicing. Completion is anticipated in October of this year.
Our new premises represent a replacement for our ancestral home in the centre of Glasgow which pioneered the use of indoor boat sales facilities in the 1960's. We anticipate being able to display sailboats of up to 42 ft in length and fly bridge cruisers of up 36ft as well as a variety of smaller craft.
The project underlines our commitment to Largs Yacht Haven where we are the official brokers for sail and power boats and have been so for 20 years. It is envisaged that our existing premises at Largs will continue to house our brokerage operation for the foreseeable future.
