Angus Scott took over the general management of the company in 1994 and is based at our new Largs HQ. Having studied small craft construction and boatyard management he spent most of the eighties working between our bases in Southampton, France and Scotland and was responsible for national distribution of Jeanneau between 1988 an 1992. His knowledge of Jeanneau models, past and present remains unsurpassed in the UK today. Years of experience in new and used boat repair, delivery, commissioning, project management and having been part of successful racing campaigns at several of Europe’s foremost regattas make him well placed to offer sound boating advice.
David Noble, based at our Largs HQ, is responsible for commissioning of new boats, spare parts, all customer service issues and web site maintenance. David’s background is solely marine based, having spent 13 years at Duncan Yacht Chandlers in Glasgow half of it as shop manager, after which he ran his own company specializing in marine electronics.
Bill Scollay is based at our original Largs office and is responsible for the busy brokerage operation. Having entered the marine industry in 1979 Bill is dedicated to making the buying process in either sail or power as enjoyable as possible and selling your boat simple and stress free.
Peter Webster runs our successful brokerage department at the ever improving Troon Yacht Haven. Prior to joining us Peter worked for over 25 years in the hotel and catering industry, and uses the wealth of experience he gained there to bring complete customer satisfaction to buyer and seller alike.
In charge of all matters mechanical is Brian Fisher our engineer. Based at our Largs HQ, he is factory trained in both inboard and outboard engines and has also attended Jeanneau and Cummins technical training courses.
Still actively involved in the background is Ronnie Scott, whose wealth of knowledge, combined with that of the rest of the management team, enables a relatively small company to achieve big results!
