Our name and that of founder Ronnie Scott has been at the forefront of pleasure craft retailing in the UK since the late sixties. Pioneering the use of indoor boat sales premises, part exchange and importing yachts for national distribution as early as 1962 with the still prolific East German Folkboat. Since 1978 we have enjoyed a unique trading relationship with giant French builders Jeanneau, running the national distribution until 1993, and today are responsible for distribution in Scotland, the North of England. Over the years we have been involved in the sale and distribution of products from a remarkable number of other leading European and North American builders. In addition to domestic sales we have enjoyed success overseas, exporting regularly to the Far East and Mediterranean markets. Our commissioning bases in the South of France have seen more than twenty new Jeanneau yachts, all above 35ft, being handed over in a single season.

Our activities are broadly split in two. Offices at Troon and Largs are responsible for brokerage activities at both Yacht Havens where we enjoy sole brokerage rights.

New boat sales are generally handled by Angus Scott at our new Largs HQ where a wide range of small craft can also be viewed. The principal new boat manufacturer represented by us is Jeanneau of France, whose ever increasing range of both sail and power boats offer the market a wide variety of boats. Project management of large custom yacht construction is also undertaken for customers who have "outgrown" the production yards we represent.

We have been members of the British Marine Federation (B.M.F.) for many years. Ronnie Scott is a past president of B.M.F Scotland
