A very busy month!
In addition to our normal new boat commissioning and service jobs we have had some other projects keeping us busy this May. Over the weekend 10-11th in partnership with our friends at Porsche Glasgow we held our inaugural, invitational Jeanneau Powerboat demonstration event weekend at Largs. Guests were able to sea trial the Jeanneau Velasco 43, NC11, Prestige 350 and Merry Fisher 755 Marlin as well as drive the latest Porsche 911, Boxter, Macan 4X4 and Panamera. Despite an indifferent weather forecast we were lucky and had good conditions save for the last hour or so on Sunday afternoon. Please click the link http://youtu.be/y8hJMUs53oA to see a video kindly prepared by Jim Matheson or look at some of the still pics below. The event was a big success with both ourselves and Porsche Glasgow doing new business.
The weekend of the 17-18th found Angus involved in the annual Clyde Property Cruise which we have supported for more than 10 years, most recently by sponsoring the pre-prize giving reception in the Anchor Hotel in Tarbert. Angus reports that although the weather was poor the sailing and Craic were as good as always. As in the last couple of years Angus sailed aboard the Sun Odyssey 409 “Prevail”.
In an effort to support the Clyde Cruising Club running the Silvers Marine Scottish Series we have provided club volunteer Stephen Bennie with a Merry Fisher 755 Marlin to use for mark laying and regatta support duties. Stephen has reported the Merry Fisher to be significantly more comfortable (and drier) than his RIB!
Like a Le Mans start the Porsches are waiting for their drivers!
